Recently, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics held a meeting of the Appraisal Council to recognize Hoang Dinh Giong Political School as meeting level 1 standards according to Regulation No. 11-QD/TW.
According to the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee's Project, in 2024, the school has invested more than 41 billion VND to improve the quality of its staff, conduct scientific research and complete facilities.
The survey results show that the school has achieved 53/55 targets, of which 8 targets exceeded the standards, and 2 targets are continuing to be completed. The Council assessed objectively, transparently and unanimously to propose recognition as meeting level 1.
At the evaluation meeting, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang - Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council praised the efforts of the province and the school, and at the same time proposed to continue to maintain criteria, improve the quality of teaching and research, link theoretical training with practice and innovate learning methods.
On behalf of the locality, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee Vu Hong Quang affirmed that he will maintain the achievements and prepare a roadmap to build a school that meets level 2. The announcement ceremony is expected to be held in mid-September 2025, to celebrate the 20th Provincial Party Congress.
According to the reporter's investigation, regarding the renovation of this school on April 18, 2023, the People's Committee of Cao Bang province submitted document No. 908 to the Provincial People's Council on the Decision on investment policy for the Project: Construction, renovation, upgrading and procurement of equipment for Hoang Dinh Giong Political School.
The total investment of the project is 38 billion VND. Cao Bang province's capital is arranged from domestically concentrated capital for basic construction investment and local budget capital for basic construction investment.
The scale of the project will be to build a new 5-storey ministries' house; build a new 2-classroom house + 3-storey lecturer's room; 1-storey multi-purpose house; renovate and expand the kitchen; build a new traditional cultural area... In 2024, the project's capital plan is more than 36 billion VND.
Up to now, the construction and upgrading has been completed. The image when received on August 30 shows that the most prominent in the campus is the completely newly built 5-storey industrial park area.
Around the campus, the multi-purpose houses and the lecturer's rooms have been renovated and built beautifully. Mr. Bui Van Dung (residing in Tan Giang ward) - shared: "Up to now, Cao Bang province only has Hoang Dinh Giong school for political training, the school has been renovated more spaciously, and just recognized as meeting the standards, so people are happy".
