On October 2, Banking Academy (HVNH) held the opening ceremony of the 2024 - 2025 school year.
At the ceremony, many students with excellent academic achievements, top students in entrance and exit were awarded scholarships to encourage their spirit.
Attending the ceremony, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Dao Minh Tu highly appreciated the results achieved by the Banking Academy. He emphasized that the Banking Academy graduates are highly appreciated by employers for their knowledge and working capacity.
"The above results have affirmed the efforts and determination of the leadership, staff, lecturers and students of the Banking Academy in education and training according to the policies and guidelines of the Party, the State and the direction of the industry. In the context of strong competition between universities in the same industry, the Academy still successfully completed the enrollment and training targets according to the set plan. On the occasion of the ceremony, Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu instructed the staff, lecturers, and all postgraduates, trainees, and students of the Academy to carry out 9 key tasks. These include continuing to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the policies and orientations of the Party and State on fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training, and human resource training;
Deploy the development and report to the State Bank for approval of the School Council Project for the 2025 - 2030 term in the spirit of continuing to innovate and promote the role and functions of the School Council in a streamlined and modern direction;
Continue to focus on improving the quality of the school's human resources, especially the capacity of the teaching staff; Improve the quality of scientific research, innovation, technology transfer...
Next, the Deputy Governor requested that the work of assessing the quality of education continue to be carried out actively and effectively, correctly assessing the quality of training; Continue to pay attention to the issue of international integration, especially the application of international practices in university management and administration to improve competitiveness and position on the university rankings of domestic and international ranking organizations;

Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu also said that commercial banks or the State Bank of Vietnam branches can consider directly recruiting valedictorians or excellent students receiving scholarships today.
"Many Deputy Governors of the State Bank of Vietnam were students of the school, so studying at the Academy is a great honor" - Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu encouraged the students.
In addition, the Deputy Governor said that students entering the new school year should try to focus on their studies to achieve the best learning results. Because going to school is a great achievement of their parents when trying to pay for their education, especially for students in areas affected by recent storms and floods, parents will have to work even harder.
At the ceremony, many commercial banks and organizations awarded scholarships worth hundreds of millions of VND to students to nurture future talent.
