The term of office is 5 years from the date of appointment.

On the same day (October 29), the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) of Nam Dinh province held a conference to announce the decisions of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on the appointment of Mr. Nguyen Tat Thang - Manager of Rural Development Branch and Mr. Vu Xuan Thuy - Manager of Irrigation Branch, DARD to hold the position of Deputy Director of DARD. The term of office is 5 years from the date of appointment.
