On June 11 and 12, in Son La province, there were 14,388 candidates entering the 2026 high school graduation exam. Up to now, the preparation work has been basically completed, departments, branches and localities are urgently reviewing the final stages, ensuring the exam takes place safely, seriously and in accordance with regulations.
The whole province arranged 33 exam sites with 674 exam rooms, including 629 official exam rooms and 45 reserve exam rooms, waiting rooms. More than 2,400 officials, teachers, staff and functional forces were mobilized to participate in the stages of organizing the exam. Exam sites have fully prepared exam rooms, reserve rooms, exam paper and exam paper preservation systems, and conditions for electricity, water, and communication.

Mr. Nguyen Van Chien - Director of the Department of Education and Training of the province, Deputy Head of the High School Graduation Exam Steering Committee of Son La province - said that to proactively prevent and combat fraud using high technology, the Department has advised to invest in handheld security scanners for 100% of exam sites in the area.
In parallel with that, the education sector organizes training and thoroughly grasps exam regulations and situation handling skills for all invigilators, ensuring compliance with regulations, contributing to organizing a serious, objective and fair exam," Mr. Chien said.
At the Tan Lang High School exam site, there are 237 registered candidates with 10 official exam rooms and 1 reserve exam room. The school has completed the dissemination of exam regulations, reviewed records and strengthened tutoring for students.
Mr. Sam Ngoc Khuyen - Principal of Tan Lang High School - said that the school develops a review plan suitable for each student group, and at the same time organizes free tutoring for students with test results that do not meet requirements to consolidate knowledge and improve the quality of the exam.
Up to now, all exam registration dossiers have been fully and accurately updated; facilities and conditions to serve the exam are also ready," teacher Khuyen said.
Not only preparing professionally, schools also focus on psychological counseling, helping students stabilize their spirits before the important exam.
Tong Thi Thuy - a 12A1 student at Thuan Chau Continuing Education Center - shared: "Teachers have systematized the core knowledge and guided the test-taking skills very specifically. I will try to maintain a calm and confident mentality to complete the exams well.


In addition, localities also develop plans to respond to floods and landslides, ready to support transporting candidates in difficult areas.
Police, medical, electricity, traffic and youth union forces were mobilized to coordinate in ensuring security and order, traffic safety, health care and support for candidates throughout the exam period.
With synchronous and thorough preparation and the involvement of the entire political system, Son La is ready to organize the 2026 High School Graduation Exam safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations, creating the most favorable conditions for candidates to confidently enter the important exam of their lives.
