On the morning of March 20, sources from the Office of the People's Committee of Dong Thap province said that the whole province had just had 34 more school collectives and individual teachers awarded the noble Labor Medal by the President. According to Decision No.: 314/QD/CTN, the President awarded 1 Second-class Labor Medal to Mr. Pham Van Huyt - Principal of Hung Thanh Secondary School, Hung Thanh commune, Dong Thap province.
At the same time, awarding the Third-class Labor Medal to the collective of Nguyen Thi Tu Primary School, Tan Dien commune, Dong Thap province and 32 individuals for their outstanding achievements in work, contributing to the cause of building socialism and protecting the Fatherland.
Among the 33 individual teachers awarded the Labor Medal this time, nearly 58% are direct teachers and more than 42% are management officials.
Regarding the area, some communes such as Hung Thanh and Cai Be emerged with a high number of individuals commended, showing that the emulation movement has a cluster-based spread. The list also covers many levels of education, from preschool to university, contributing to affirming the comprehensiveness in recognizing the contributions of the education sector.
