On March 20, representatives of International Primary School (Tan An ward, Dak Lak province) said that the unit had grasped some feedback from parents about the quality of lunch at the school.
Previously, some parents with children studying at the school reflected that lunch meals did not ensure nutrition for students. Meanwhile, they still paid full meal money, even higher than the general level at public primary schools with semi-boarding organizations in the area.

A parent shared: "At my children's lunch, I only saw a piece of stuffed tofu, a little soup, stir-fried vegetables and a part of fruit. It looks quite poor, not commensurate with a school with a'international' name. Moreover, when comparing the school's announced menu with the actual meal, there is a significant difference.
Leaders of International Primary School said that in the past two weeks, the inspection team of the local government has inspected the operation of the kitchen. Through this, functional agencies assessed contents related to food safety and hygiene and some other issues.
Regarding parents' feedback, the school said that it has had specific explanations. Accordingly, each student pays about 1.1 million VND for food each month (equivalent to 22-24 school days). This amount includes food costs, kitchen staff salaries, depreciation, taxes and other operating costs.
School leaders also said that currently many types of food, including vegetables, must have full invoices, incurring additional costs. Due to the limited contribution level, meal norms are built correspondingly, leading to a menu that cannot be more diverse.
When there is a complaint, the school also holds a meeting of parents' representatives of the classes. At the same time, parents are invited to the school for a surprise inspection of the unit's kitchen at any time.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper also reflected on the poor quality of main meals at International Primary School (Tan An ward) lacking nutrients for students. Many parents have also reflected on this situation, but now this unfortunate incident continues to recur.
