Teachers said that in recent days, Lao Cai Provincial Police have had many working sessions with them to clarify the monthly overtime payrolls that must be returned to the school's treasurer.

Up to now, 20 teachers have had statements from the bank and sent them to Lao Cai Provincial Police to serve the investigation.

"From September 2022 to December 2022, principals working at the school will be allocated extra teaching hours to teachers. We have recorded the entire monthly overtime payroll received from the bank and then transferred it to the school through the cashier's personal account number. On average, for nearly 3 years, each teacher had to transfer about 30 million VND/person. We were only informed by the principal through meetings that this amount was for the school to... pay off the debt" - a teacher shared.
