Speaking with Lao Dong, Mr. Le Thanh Hung - Chairman of Dong Cuong Commune People's Committee said: After Lao Dong Newspaper published information reflecting that teachers at An Binh Kindergarten had to transfer monthly overtime pay to the school, Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee issued a document to the commune to verify and report.
"We have asked the Board of Directors of An Binh Kindergarten to explain the incident and at the same time establish a team to work with the school on October 27. The locality's viewpoint is to strictly handle violations," said Mr. Le Thanh Hung.
According to the leader of Dong Cuong commune, on October 26, Lao Cai Provincial Police went to An Binh Kindergarten to work with the Board of Directors, accountants, treasurers and teachers to verify and clarify.

Teachers said that nearly 10 police officers worked with each teacher about whether they received monthly overtime pay and fees for purchasing boarding school supplies paid by parents.
"We have specifically reported to the police that for many years after receiving the monthly overtime pay, we have had to transfer it all back to the school treasurer. The teachers also frankly talked about how the Principal had directed the legalization of the revenues and expenditures to deal with it. We hope that the authorities will work objectively and fairly so that the matter can be clarified soon," said a teacher.

Previously, at a working session with Lao Dong Newspaper reporters on October 21, Ms. Doan Thi Le Xuan - Principal of An Binh Kindergarten - affirmed: Every month, teachers are still paid for extra teaching hours (Saturday and Sunday) and are not transferred to the school.
After the meeting, the teacher provided many recordings showing Ms. Doan Thi Le Xuan asking everyone to help the school not to declare the truth and explained that: The purpose of transferring money to Ms. Luu Thi Duyen (cashier) was to get cash. With transfers with the words "paying overtime", people say that compensation is for children's tuition costs (? )
In particular, the Principal of An Binh Kindergarten also provided many documents and statements of fees for teachers to sign to legalize the monthly overtime payment.
After the article: A teacher at a kindergarten in Lao Cai reported being charged additional teaching fees, many parents continued to petition for unreasonable fees that the Board of Directors had directed homeroom teachers to collect over the years.
For example, at the beginning of the year, parents had to pay 500,000 VND/child to buy boarding school supplies. Although students still use old blankets and toys, the school spends very little to buy them, but every year they still have to pay more.
Not to mention that charity groups occasionally give toys and school supplies to the list to report to parents who are schools for shopping.
According to the teachers, the Principal is currently directing the cashier to return this money to the homeroom teacher to transfer to parents.
