The 2025 Lunar New Year holiday schedule is specified in the school year plan framework of each province. However, this schedule may change, depending on the actual situation. Below is the updated Tet holiday schedule of the provinces and cities.
17. Khanh Hoa
The Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province said that the Lunar New Year holiday schedule for students of all levels in 2025 will start from January 23, 2025 (ie December 24, Giap Thin year) to February 2, 2025 (ie January 5, At Ty year).
18. Da Nang
Preschool children, primary school students, and continuing education students will have a holiday from Thursday, January 23, 2025 (ie December 24, the year of Giap Thin) to Sunday, February 2, 2025 (ie January 5, the year of At Ty).
19. Lam Dong
Preschool children and students have Tet holiday: 9 consecutive days, from Saturday, January 25, 2025 (ie December 26, Giap Thin year) to Sunday, February 2, 2025 (ie January 5, At Ty year).
20. Soc Trang
Holidays, New Year's Day, Lunar New Year; Holidays and Tet of Khmer ethnic people: Implement according to the general provisions of the 2019 Labor Code and annual guidance documents.
For Lunar New Year, students will be off from January 27, 2025 to February 8, 2025.

On November 26, the Government Office issued a document conveying the Prime Minister's instructions on Lunar New Year holidays and some holidays in 2025.
Accordingly, the Prime Minister agreed to let cadres, civil servants and public employees nationwide have 9 consecutive days off, including 5 days off for Lunar New Year and 4 days off every week from January 25 to February 2, 2025 (ie December 26 to January 5).
