On May 9, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) officially informed about the incident in which students had inappropriate behavior towards veterans on the evening of April 29, while waiting to watch the parade and parade event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

The school said that after the incident, students and their families were invited to the school to discuss and clarify the incident in the spirit of supporting students to perceive the right and wrong, correct their mistakes and mature.

At the same time, the school has connected with the involved veterans in the case to apologize. Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology also held a meeting of the Student Discipline Council to consider the comprehensive incident, based on the report, and at the same time assessing her sincere attitude and desire to correct their mistakes.

"The school agreed on a form of reprimand handling, requiring students to seriously review and commit not to repeat the offense," the school representative informed.

Previously, on April 30, a clip was made with the content of accusing a group of young people of being unruly, loudly fighting for positions with veterans to watch a parade and march in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.
