Lac Hong University, students are off for Tet from December 28 to February 10 (November 28 to January 13, for first-year students, from January 4 to February 10. Thus, the Tet holiday for students lasts from 38 to 45 days depending on the course.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance, students have Tet holiday from January 19 to February 9 (December 20 to January 12), 22 days.

On November 26, the Government Office issued a document conveying the Prime Minister's instructions on Lunar New Year holidays and some holidays in 2025.
Accordingly, the Prime Minister agreed to let cadres, civil servants and public employees nationwide have 9 consecutive days off, including 5 days off for Lunar New Year and 4 days off every week from January 25 to February 2, 2025 (ie December 26 to January 5).
