At the Academy of Journalism and Communication, according to the plan, students of the Academy will have 22 days off for Tet: from Saturday, January 18, 2025 (ie December 19, year of the Dragon) to Sunday, February 9, 2025 (ie January 12, year of the Snake).
University of Technology (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), students will have Lunar New Year holiday 2025 from January 20 to February 2 (December 21 to January 5), or 14 days.

Students of Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy will have Lunar New Year holiday 2025 from January 20 to February 2 (December 21 to January 5).
Vinh University (Nghe An) gives students a break for Lunar New Year 2025 from January 20 to February 2 (December 21 to January 5).
Hanoi Medical University, students are off for Lunar New Year 2025 from January 20 to February 2 (December 21 to January 5).
Union University, students are off for Tet from January 22 to February 4 (December 23 to January 7).
The 2025 Tet holiday schedule for schools in the South is as follows:
Lac Hong University, students are off for Tet from December 28 to February 10 (November 28 to January 13, for first-year students, from January 4 to February 10. Thus, the Tet holiday for students lasts from 38 to 45 days depending on the course.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance, students have Tet holiday from January 19 to February 9 (December 20 to January 12), 22 days.

On November 26, the Government Office issued a document conveying the Prime Minister's instructions on Lunar New Year holidays and some holidays in 2025.
Accordingly, the Prime Minister agreed to let cadres, civil servants and public employees nationwide have 9 consecutive days off, including 5 days off for Lunar New Year and 4 days off every week from January 25 to February 2, 2025 (ie December 26 to January 5).
