Pursuant to Notice No. 1 issued on January 2, 2025 by the People's Committee of Bac Giang province, implementing Notice No. 6150/TB-LDTBXH dated December 3, 2024 of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs on Lunar New Year holidays, National Day holidays, Victory Day holidays April 30 and International Labor Day May 1, 2025 for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee announces as follows:
Officials, civil servants, public employees and employees of administrative agencies, public service agencies, political organizations, socio-political organizations are entitled to Lunar New Year holidays, National Day holidays, Victory Day holidays April 30 and International Labor Day May 1 in 2025 as follows:
On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025, civil servants and public employees will have 9 days off, from Saturday, January 25, 2025 (ie December 26, year of Giap Thin) to Sunday, February 2, 2025 (ie January 5, year of At Ty). This includes 5 days off for Lunar New Year and 4 days off every week.
For National Day 2025, civil servants and public employees will have 4 days off, from Saturday, August 30, 2025 to Tuesday, September 2, 2025. This includes 2 National Day holidays and 2 weekly days off.
For the Victory Day holiday of April 30 and International Labor Day of May 1, 2025, civil servants and public employees will have 5 days off, from Wednesday, April 30, 2025 to Sunday, May 4, 2025; in which the working day will be swapped from Friday, May 2, 2025 to Saturday, April 26, 2025.
Agencies and units that do not have a fixed weekly Saturday and Sunday off schedule must base on the specific program and plan of the agency or unit to arrange a suitable, legal off schedule.
According to the announcement of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province, agencies and units that do not have a fixed schedule for Saturday and Sunday every week must base on the specific program and plan of the agency or unit to arrange a suitable and legal schedule for holidays. Other holidays and Tet holidays are implemented according to the provisions of the Labor Code.
