The documents include a report on the results of the 10th entrance exam issued by the secondary school where the student registered for the exam.
Candidates can only submit their application directly to one high school that is lacking quotas and cannot change schools after submitting their application. The results were announced on August 8.
Previously, the Department of Education and Training (DET) of Ho Chi Minh City announced additional enrollment quotas for 37 public high schools in Area 1 for the 2025-2026 school year.
According to the Department of Education and Training, the enrollment subjects are students who have taken the entrance exam for grade 10 in the 2025-2026 school year in Area 1 of Ho Chi Minh City and have met the following conditions:
No wishes are admitted to public high schools and must have a total of entrance exam scores for 3 subjects: Math, Literature, Foreign Language and priority, admission scores (if any) greater than or equal to the 1 wish standard score of the public high school that wishes to register for admission.

This is the third consecutive year that Ho Chi Minh City has organized additional admissions for grade 10. In 2024, Ho Chi Minh City will have 36 high schools recruiting more than 2,200 additional quotas. Some schools are enrolling students who meet the quota such as Le Thi Hong Gam High School; Dao Son Tay High School...
In particular, the group of top schools was almost left empty-handed in the additional admission round.
