37 high schools in Ho Chi Minh City admit additional students to grade 10

HCMC - On the afternoon of July 28, the Department of Education and Training (DET) of HCMC announced additional enrollment targets at 37 public high schools under KV1 for the 2025-2026 school year.

According to the Department of Education and Training, the enrollment subjects are students who have taken the entrance exam for grade 10 in the 2025-2026 school year in Area 1 of Ho Chi Minh City and have met the following conditions:

No wishes are admitted to public high schools and must have a total of entrance exam scores for 3 subjects: Math, Literature, Foreign Language and priority, admission scores (if any) greater than or equal to the 1 wish standard score of the public high school that wishes to register for admission.

Each student can only register for additional admission to 1 public high school that has not yet enrolled in accordance with the assigned quota and cannot change schools when the supplementary admission application has been submitted.

Students who wish to enroll additional students must submit documents directly to high school, including a report on the results of the 10th entrance exam issued by the secondary school where the student registered for the exam.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training noted that schools do not accept students exceeding the enrollment quota. Cases exceeding the enrollment target will not be resolved.

No additional admission candidates will be accepted after 4:00 p.m. on August 11.
