In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City Open University plans to recruit 5,500 students according to many admission methods.

Group of admission methods according to the Admission Regulations: Direct admission and priority admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; Admission using the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.

For the group of methods according to the school's own enrollment plan, the admission methods are prioritized in the following order:

1: Admission for candidates with international certificates such as IB with 26 points or more, A-Level with C or higher in each subject, or SAT with 1,100 points or more.

2. Admit candidates with good academic results and good training results to high schools (group 1 and group 2) with international language certificates according to regulations.

3. Admission of candidates with Good academic results and Good training results for high schools (group 1 and group 2).

4. Admission is based on high school academic results (Exam) with an international language certificate according to regulations.

5. Admission using high school academic results ( academic transcripts).

Group of admission methods for competency assessment test scores: Admission based on the results of the 2025 computer-based university entrance exam (VSAT); Admission based on the results of the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam.

Ho Chi Minh City Open University plans to collect tuition fees for the 2025-2026 school year from about 24-28.5 million VND for majors/groups of majors in the standard program.

Of which, the majors of Economics, Public Administration, Sociology, Social Work, Southeast Asia Studies, and Psychology have the lowest tuition fee of about 24 million VND. The majors of Biotechnology, Food Technology, Construction Management... have the highest tuition fees of about 28.5 million VND.

For majors and groups of majors trained under high-quality programs, tuition fees range from about 46. until 29.5 million VND.
