According to information from the Military Medical Academy, in 2025, the Academy was assigned by the Ministry of National Defense to enroll 630 students, civil students, from university to doctorate, and primary and secondary specialists.
For the undergraduate program, the Academy will enroll 280 students in 3 majors: Medicine, Pharmacy and Preventive Medicine. Of which, Medicine recruited 200 students, the remaining two majors each had 40 targets.
The rest, the Academy enrolls masters (80 targets), doctors (50 targets), resident doctors (20 targets) and primary and secondary specialist doctors. Of which, primary school specialists are recruited with 120 quotas for 20 majors, secondary school specialists are recruited with 80 quotas for 18 majors. Previously, the Military Medical Academy recruited civil servants from 2002 to 2018, then stopped according to Resolution 19 of the Party Central Committee, to implement the policy of innovating and reorganizing military units.
Recently, in the face of difficulties in high-quality resources, while military schools are qualified and have strengths in many industries, the Ministry of National Defense has developed a project to continue training high-quality human resources to serve industrialization and modernization from 2025.
In addition to the Military Medical Academy, many other military schools will also recruit civilians again from this year. These 14 schools include the Academy of Politics, Logistics, Military Technology, Military Science, School of Information Officers, Military University of Culture and Arts, Logistics College 1 and 2, College of Defense Industry, Military Traditional Medicine Institute, Military History Institute, Institute of Clinical Medicine and Pharmacy Research 108, Military Technical Officer School and Military Science and Technology Institute.
