Recently, Hoa Sen University welcomed Dr. Nguyen Huu Lam, a prestigious educator and business consultant and manager to join the school's Advisory Council. This event is part of a strategy to affirm its position as a leading university in the fields of economics, management, technology and innovation.
Dr. Nguyen Huu Lam, a Fulbright scholar and former Director of the Center for Management Research & Development at Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics, is also a lecturer in the Fulbright Economic Teaching Program. He holds a PhD in human resource development from Texas A&M University, USA, and has made many important contributions to the development of policies and strategies for the government and domestic and international organizations, including projects related to the development of management and leadership skills, the development of international human resources and improving the quality of higher education.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Huu Lam shared: "From concerns about developing the teaching staff and improving educational capacity, I pledge to work with the Advisory Council and the leadership of the University to contribute my intelligence and efforts to the development of Hoa Sen University. We will build a happy educational environment, worthy of the profession and for each student. Together, we will contribute to the development of students, society and the future of each student."
Mr. Hoang Quoc Viet - Chairman of the Advisory Council emphasized: "In business, it is not only necessary to have a real vision but also a long-term strategic vision. The participation of Mr. Nguyen Huu Lam marks an important step forward in helping Hoa Sen University to train business with passion while also expanding the vision for students, demonstrating our commitment to developing a sustainable economic education.
Before Dr. Nguyen Huu Lam, Hoa Sen University also appointed Professor Dr. Truong Nguyen Thanh to the position of Vice Chairman of the Advisory Council with the core task of building a Project Committee to comprehensively evaluate the school's regular university training activities. This is an urgent task to accept future challenges brought by new technology such as artificial intelligence and thereby propose changes such as: improving training programs, teaching and learning methods, equipping students with necessary skills to adapt to rapid changes in the labor market.
Recently, Hoa Sen University has continuously appointed key positions in the school's Advisory Council, including education experts and influential administrators, marking an important step forward in strengthening a leadership team ready to build a school development strategy to become a leading educational institution in the fields of business, management, technology and innovation.
