Ho Chi Minh City records 357 schools with students violating traffic laws at the beginning of 2026

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training requests schools to review and coordinate with families to educate students who violate traffic safety and order and report the handling results before May 29.

On May 11, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training (GDĐT) issued a document requesting the People's Committees of 168 wards, communes and special zones to direct educational institutions in the area to take measures to educate students who violate traffic safety order from January 1 to February 28, 2026.

At the same time, the Department also announced a list of 357 schools with violating students.

For educational institutions, the Department of Education and Training requests to receive the list of violating students; review and compare with the list of students at the school. The list of violations is received at the Student Department of the Department of Education and Training no later than May 15, 2026.

Schools must coordinate with families to implement handling measures according to regulations for violating students; ensure proper procedures, and at the same time strengthen education and reminders to raise awareness of compliance with traffic safety laws.

The Department of Education and Training also requested heads of educational institutions to review and self-criticize the work of propaganda and traffic safety education in units with many students violating for a long time in the reporting periods of the 2025-2026 school year.
