On November 18, the International Training Institute, Academy of Finance held a ceremony to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, 2024.
Dr. Trinh Thanh Huyen, Director of the International Training Institute, said that the educational environment is the cradle for developing behavior, forming habits and nurturing the personality of each student, along with family and society.
Accepting the profession of being a teacher means that every teacher must always know how to restrain and control themselves to maintain the pure virtue of the profession, accepting to be a lifelong example to keep the two words "teacher" pure.
"Society honors the teaching profession as a special profession. Because what we build every day is intelligence and human personality. What we face is not learning materials but students. Our mission is not only to help students overcome subjects but to help students overcome themselves.
Our mission is not only to race with students to the finish line, but also to accompany students both in the classroom and on the journey of personality development. Our actions are not only to inspire students, but also to keep that fire burning forever" - Dr. Trinh Thanh Huyen shared.
Despite the great responsibility, according to Dr. Trinh Thanh Huyen, each teacher is not a special person. Teachers are also ordinary people with ordinary lives. Leaving the lecture hall, leaving the role of teacher, they are also students, fathers, mothers, children, grandchildren with the duty of filial piety and daily life, also have a full range of moods and emotions of "joy - anger - love - hate".
"The successes of generations of students, the difficult but correct passes through the university entrance exam or simply the lovely love stories of perfect couples are always irreplaceable prides for the education sector.
"The endless stories, the sincere wishes without embellishment but showing the understanding of generations of students towards their teachers are a great motivation for teachers to stay with the profession and love their profession more and more, and be more and more proud of their social position and the glory of their profession" - Dr. Trinh Thanh Huyen shared.
Hoang Khanh Linh - a student of DDP07 course expressed her gratitude to the teachers - those who have devoted all their heart, effort and love for the profession to guide students on the path of knowledge.
"In addition to the professional knowledge in books, the practical life lessons and professional skills that teachers share are invaluable lessons for us on the path to adulthood. We will always strive to never let down the teachers' expectations and be worthy of the trust that teachers have in us" - Khanh Linh shared.
In the 2023-2024 school year, the International Training Institute had 135 students honored in various categories for their achievements in academics, student activities, scientific research, and other exceptional awards. Notably, 5 third-year students achieved a perfect score of 4.0.
For the Master of Finance and Investment Program, 17.5% of students graduated with distinction and 60% of students graduated with honors.
