Recognizing recruitment results
After qualifying for the recruitment period for education officials in Bac Tra My, Quang Nam at the end of 2024, 105 candidates were unexpectedly "suspended" in their results, because they temporarily suspended recruitment to serve the work of streamlining the apparatus, causing many people to be anxious and worried.

On June 4, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tu - Head of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Tra My district informed Lao Dong that Bac Tra My district has recognized the results of recruiting civil servants for education and training in 2024 for 78 candidates.
"The Department is preparing a proposal for the district to continue to add a list of 25 more teachers, including 5 who passed the recent exam and new teachers to compensate for the shortage due to retirement and job transfer" - Mr. Tu said.
For 22 employees (including clerks, libraries, etc.) who have been recruited but have had their recruitment suspended due to waiting for the policy of arranging administrative units, the Department of Education and Training proposed that the District People's Committee have a policy to recognize the recruitment results to promptly complete the missing personnel according to actual needs.
"If we cannot recruit immediately, at least there needs to be a document to reserve the results so that when there is a suitable policy, we can continue to recruit" - Mr. Tu expressed his opinion.

Earlier, the Party Central Office issued a dispatch to notify the conclusion of the Politburo, the Secretariat dated 3.5.2025, on the organizational structure of the political system. Accordingly, the Central Committee agreed to continue recruiting officials to public educational and public health institutions, within the number of payrolls assigned by competent authorities. This is considered a positive signal, opening up opportunities to resolve cases of matriculation but have not been recognized in many localities, including Quang Nam.
In Bac Tra My district - a mountainous area with many difficulties - an educational employee recruitment period will be held at the end of 2024 with 407 candidates entering round 2, competing for 111 targets. After the review, 105 candidates were admitted, most of whom are long-time contract teachers working in schools in remote areas.
However, right at the time of waiting for the results to be announced, the implementation of the policy of temporarily suspending recruitment to serve the work of arranging district-level administrative units caused the results to be "suspended". Many people are in a state of being unstable, not knowing whether to continue to stick with their profession or find another direction.

Teacher Tran Thi L., a contract teacher in Tra Giac commune, shared: I have been teaching on a contract for 9 years, passing the exam is an effort. It seemed like the opportunity to change my life had come, but everything was quiet. Now that I have heard the policy and it has been partly recognized, I just hope my name will soon be on the list, so that I can continue to stick with my students with peace of mind."
Ms. Ho Thi N., a Ca Dong ethnic group, confided: I am one of the priority candidates because I am a policy beneficiary. The exam has passed but has been suspended, it is really worrying. Hopefully the district will soon have a specific decision so that we no longer have to stand at the intersection of the road".

According to records, many people in the group of 22 admitted but unrecognized employees are still temporarily returning to work at the old school under seasonal contracts or without salaries, in a state of mental instability, due to the risk of work interruption when not on the official recruitment list.
The leader of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Tra My district said that with the new guidance from the central level, the district is completing the procedure to submit to Quang Nam province to continue the recruitment process, trying to arrange the work for all candidates before the transformation of the district government model (expected from 1.7.2025).
The resumption of recruitment not only helps fill the missing positions in the education sector, but also shows recognition and respect for the team of teachers and staff who have quietly contributed in disadvantaged areas. They deserve an official position, to feel secure in their profession and stabilize their lives" - the leader emphasized.
