On July 4, Central Party Committee member and Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long signed Decisions on renaming two universities in Hanoi.
In Decision No. 1483/QD-TTg, Hanoi Procuracy was renamed Hanoi Procuracy, headquartered in Hanoi City.
In Decision No. 1485/QD-TTg, Hanoi University of Textile and Garment Industry was renamed Hanoi University of Industry and Trade, headquartered in Hanoi City.
The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Education and Training, the Hanoi People's Committee and relevant agencies, according to their functions, tasks and authority, to guide and supervise the renaming process to ensure transparency, avoid negativity, loss and waste of finance and assets; and not affect the normal and continuous operation of the school.
Ensure the legitimate and legal rights and interests of learners, lecturers, managers, employees and related organizations and individuals according to the provisions of law.
Previously, the National Assembly Standing Committee reviewed and approved a resolution approving the proposal of the Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy on the organization of the Supreme People's Procuracy.
Accordingly, Hanoi Procuracy (T2) and Ho Chi Minh City Procuracy Training and Professional Development School (T3) will be merged.
The name of the unit after the merger is "Bridge of Procuracy University" with the Branch of the University of Procuracy in Ho Chi Minh City on the basis of developing a project to restructure the Provincial Police Training and Professional Development School in Ho Chi Minh City into "Bridge of the University of Procuracy in Ho Chi Minh City".
