On December 23, the University of Economics, Vietnam National University, Hanoi announced the expected university admission in 2026.
In 2026, the University of Economics will not use high school academic results (academic transcripts) in regular domestic university admissions. The school enrolls 6 training majors with 3,000 quotas, keeping them stable compared to 2025.

The school plans to use 5 admission combinations for all regular domestic training majors including: D01 (Math, Literature, English), C01 (Math, Literature, Physics), C04 (Math, Literature, Geography), C03 (Math, Literature, History), X01 (Math, Literature, Economic and Legal Education).
Compared to last year, the domestic admission program has considered 3 combinations, including: A01 (Math, Physics, English), D09 (Math, History, English), D10 (Math, Geography, English).
For domestic admissions, in addition to considering high school graduation exam scores, the school also considers HSA competency assessment test scores organized by Hanoi National University, which are considered for direct admission.
For admission with foreign training, the school will consider 6 methods: Considering combining academic records with international English certificates; considering academic records; considering SAT, ACT, A-LEVEL certificates; considering high school graduation exam scores; considering HSA competency assessment test scores; considering high school graduation candidates abroad.
Regarding the method of considering high school graduation exam scores for training programs linked to abroad, the school considers 9 combinations: A01, D01, D09, D10, C01, C03, C04, X01, D 8:00
In 2025, the benchmark score of Hanoi National University of Economics ranges from 24.2 to 25.72, with the majors in Accounting and Economics developing the lowest, and the majors in International Economics having the highest benchmark score.
