In 2026, Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry will enroll students according to 5 admission methods: Direct admission and priority admission; considering the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City; considering the results of the high school graduation exam; considering the high school graduation exam scores with transcripts and admission based on transcripts.
For the method of admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam, the school does not apply it to the Preschool Education major.
With the admission method based on the 2026 high school graduation exam scores, all majors use scores from subjects in the admission combination. For the Preschool Education major (university and college level), candidates must use scores from two subjects: Math, Literature and aptitude test scores.
In the high school graduation exam score admission method with transcripts, candidates use the scores of two high school graduation exam subjects in the admission combination, the remaining subject is replaced or supplemented by transcript scores (average 6 semesters from grade 10 to grade 12). This method does not apply to the Preschool Education sector.
With the transcript-based admission method, the school uses the 6-semester average score of subjects in the admission combination. For the Preschool Education major, candidates must use transcript scores for two subjects: Math, Literature and aptitude test scores. At the Ho Chi Minh City campus, this method is only applied to high school graduates in 2026.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry stipulates that candidates can use international English certificates to convert scores in the admission combination.
