On March 27, in an exchange with reporters, the leader of Luong The Vinh Primary School (Ben Cat ward, Ho Chi Minh City) said that they had met parents related to the video reflecting that children who did not eat semi-boarding were kicked out of school standing in the sun.
At the meeting, related parents said that the school security guard had spoken loudly and was not polite. Parents blamed the security guard for the incident.
The school has received this reflection, and at the same time, the school reminds security guards to talk and treat parents and students properly and more pedagogically.
Leaders of Luong The Vinh Primary School affirmed that there is no such thing as the school kicking students out of school standing in the sun.
The school does not fire students. No one would dare to do such a thing" - the school leader affirmed.

School leaders added that currently, the school has changed the plan to organize for students not to eat semi-boarding meals to go home at noon; ensuring that students are taken to waiting points in shady places, keeping students safe until parents come to pick them up and ensuring order in front of the school gate.
In addition, for students who do not register for semi-boarding meals, the school also agrees to have students bring rice with them for lunch, reducing costs for parents in difficult circumstances.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that on March 26, a clip with information reflecting the case of children who did not eat semi-boarding meals being kicked out of school standing in the sun was spread on social networks; while the school had shade trees, but did not allow children to stand.
The viral clip received the attention of netizens. Talking to reporters, the leader of Ben Cat Ward People's Committee said that this is inaccurate information. The incident originated from the fact that more than 200 students did not eat semi-boarding meals, and by noon when students left, parents came to pick them up. While waiting for parents to pick them up, inside the school there was a cool place for students to stand, however, young children often ran back and forth.
Leaders of Ben Cat Ward People's Committee have directed to invite parents to reflect and work. At the same time, they requested the Ward Police to verify and clarify whether the incident was right or wrong compared to legal regulations. If wrong, administrative violations must be handled for spreading untrue information.
