In previous years, only Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted enrolled in the country.
Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee stipulates that candidates applying for the entrance exam to 2 specialized high schools must achieve the results of the training assessment and the assessment of the entire school year of grades 6, 7, 8 from kha tro len, the grade 9 year must be Good.
In the exam, candidates will take 4 thesis exams including 3 non-professional exams: Math, Literature (120 minutes/subject), Foreign Language (1 foreign language is being studied at school, time 90 minutes) and 1 professional exam in the correct subject registered for the exam (150 minutes). The exam is expected to be held on June 6-7.
The test score is the total composition score of each question in the test, the test score is calculated on a scale of 10, individual points up to 0.25.
The total admission score for the specialized class is: Literature + Foreign Language + Math + (specialty x 2).
Only candidates are admitted to the entrance exam, have taken all the prescribed exams, do not violate the exam rules in the entrance exam and all exams have scores greater than 2.
Students are allowed to register 2 priority wishes for the specialized class. Arrange in order of priority from high to low (aspiration 1, 2), if you are admitted and have a wish, you must study according to that wish, without changing your wishes.
Depending on the actual application submission at specialized high schools, the Department of Education and Training will consider and decide to organize the additional specialized entrance exam after the end of the 10th grade school year.
If they are not admitted or do not submit their application to specialized schools, students graduating from junior high school in the 2024-2025 school year in Ho Chi Minh City will still be eligible to participate in the 10th grade admission exam according to 3 wishes to enter public high schools.
