On the evening of March 24, Ho Chi Minh City National University for the Gifted announced the 10th grade enrollment plan for the 2025-2026 school year.
Accordingly, at District 5 campus (school location: 153 Nguyen Chi Thanh, Ward 9, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City, organized in the form of one-session learning). The school enrolls 7 specialized classes: Math (1 class), IT (1 class), Physics (1 class), Chemistry (1 class), Biology (1 class), English (1 class) and Literature (1 class). Total target: 245 students, each class does not exceed 35 students.
Thu Duc campus (lecture location: Ho Chi Minh City National University Urban Area, organized in the form of boarding), includes 10 specialized classes: Math (2 classes), IT (1 class), Physics (1 class), Chemistry (1 class), Biology (1 class), English (2 classes) and Literature (2 classes). Total quota: 350 students, each class does not exceed 35 students.
The school said that each candidate must take 4 subjects, including 3 non-professional subjects (Math, Literature, English) and 1 specialized subject from the following subjects: Math, Informatics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature and English.
Each candidate can register for a maximum of 2 subjects in the optional subject exam. In case of registration for 2 subjects, candidates need to ensure that they choose 1 subject in each group (group 1: Math - Literature; group 2: English - Physics - Chemistry - Biology - Informatics).
The 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year of the Gifted High School will take place on May 24 and 25, 2025.
Nang Thieu High School said that all registration for the 10th grade entrance exam is done online at the school's registration portal. Parents and candidates in need can go directly to the school's District 5 facility according to the schedule (special notice) to conduct registration operations at computers prepared by the school.
Registration time is from 8:00 a.m. on May 5, 2025 to 5:00 p.m. on May 11, 2025 (including Saturday and Sunday).
The exam fee is 150,000 VND/subject and 50,000 VND/examination. Candidates pay fees online.
