In addition, this year, 3 schools are enrolling more than 1,000 students, including Mac Dinh Chi High School 1,060), Hung Vuong High School 1,035 and Marie Curie High School (1,000). The four schools that recruited at least the Olympic Sports Talent School, Vietnam - Finland International School, Viet Uc International School, Thanh An Secondary and High School are all under 100 students.

According to the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, the quota for grade 10 this year is calculated by the department to suit each area, in order to reduce pressure on students.

Accordingly, schools in suburban and suburban areas with a small number that need to control classes according to new rural standards will be assigned targets according to needs. As for schools in densely populated areas, the quota is assigned higher.
