On November 17, the People's Committee of Kim Ngan commune (Quang Tri province) said that after Ms. Do Thi Hong Hue - Vice Principal of Kim Thuy Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities - returned to school, many parents went to school to pick up their children at home.
On the same morning, Kim Ngan Commune People's Committee held a meeting with school leaders and Ms. Hue to discuss a plan to stabilize teaching activities. At the meeting, some opinions suggested that Ms. Hue should continue to take a leave of absence while waiting for the settlement or consider a retirement plan according to the regime to reduce pressure and avoid disrupting the learning environment of students.

After the meeting, Ms. Hue went to school. At this time, many parents gathered at school and took their children home.
It is known that this is the second time Ms. Hue has returned to school and has been reported by parents to have brought her child back.
Currently, Kim Ngan Commune People's Committee is continuing to discuss with relevant units to agree on a handling plan, ensuring that the rights of students are given top priority, while maintaining stable teaching and learning activities in the locality.
Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, on the morning of September 26, after breakfast at school, 40 students showed symptoms of nausea and abdominal pain and were taken to the emergency room. Up to now, their health has stabilized.
Ms. Do Thi Hong Hue has been suspended twice in a row for the authorities to check and clarify the incident.
