As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, Kim Thuy Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities was the place where the incident of 40 students with symptoms of abdominal pain, vomiting, and diarrhea after breakfast on September 26 occurred.
The students were taken to Le Thuy Regional General Hospital for emergency treatment and diagnosed with gastroenteritis suspected to be due to poisoning. Currently, their health is temporarily stable.
Along with verifying the complaint, Kim Ngan Commune People's Committee is also clarifying a 44-second clip that spread on social media, recording a scene in the school's health room, including the presence of the vice principal and many students with symptoms of poisoning.
