Proposing the Central Government to discipline former Thanh Hoa Secretary Do Trong Hung
On September 26, at the headquarters of the Party Central Committee and the Politburo, the Secretariat met to consider disciplining party organizations and party members who violated the law as proposed by the Central Inspection Committee.
The Politburo decided to take disciplinary action against the Warning of the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term (until September 2024).
The Politburo proposed that the Party Central Committee consider and discipline Mr. Do Trong Hung - former Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee according to its authority.
Mr. Do Minh Tuan, during his tenure as Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province, violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, in preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity.
Individuals: Nguyen Van Thi - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Member of the Party Affairs Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa People's Committee; Le Anh Xuan - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, former Secretary of Thanh Hoa City Party Committee; Tran Anh Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of Department of Industry and Trade, former Chairman of Thanh Hoa City People's Committee; Tran Van Thuc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, former Secretary of the Party Committee, former Director of the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa province; Pham Quoc Nam, former: Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Bac Lieu Province (now Ca Mau Province); Bui Quoc Nam, Nguyen: Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of Bac Lieu Department of Health (now Ca Mau Province); Pham Tan Hoang, Nguyen: Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chief Justice of the People's Court of Phu Yen Province, Deputy Chief Justice of the High Court of the People's Court in Da Nang has degraded political, ethical and lifestyle ideology; violating the Party's regulations and laws of the State in performing the assigned duties and tasks; Violating the regulations on what party members must not do and the responsibility to set an example, causing very serious consequences, public opinion pressing, adversely affecting the reputation of the Party organizations and agencies and working units.
The Secretariat decided to take disciplinary action to expel from the Party the following individuals: Nguyen Van Thi, Le Anh Xuan, Tran Anh Chung, Tran Van Thuc, Pham Quoc Nam, Bui Quoc Nam, Pham Tan Hoang; Remove Mr. Do Minh Tuan from all positions in the Party.
Former ward chairman prosecuted for land violations
On September 25, Quang Ngai Provincial Police announced that the Investigation Police Agency of the Economic Police Department had issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain Mr. Nguyen Van Hai - former Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Trung Ward, Kon Tum City, Kon Tum Province (old) for the act of "Abusing position and power while performing official duties".
Mr. Hai is said to be involved in a case of violating legal regulations in land management, issuing land use right certificates in violation of regulations for land plots under state management, causing serious damage to the budget.
