According to the representative of Hanoi Metro One Member Co., Ltd., from May 24 to June 2, the unit coordinated with functional units to inspect the scene, develop a plan to repair and urgently overcome incidents and damage at the stations of urban railway line No. 2A, Cat Linh - Ha Dong.
For the rolling roof and outdoor walkways at some stations, as of June 2, Hanoi Metro has dismantled and replaced all damaged rolling roofs and walkways at stations: Thai Ha, Ring Road 3, Van Quan and Yen Nghia.

For the roof at Yen Nghia station, Hanoi Metro has purchased materials, repaired and replaced it, expected to be completed before June 5. In addition, the periodic inspection and maintenance of the roof system at stations is still carried out regularly by the Construction Maintenance and Repair Team (under Hanoi Metro), including glue checking, screening and roof cleaning.
For the station equipment items, Hanoi Metro has newly replaced and repaired all 5 camera surveillance screens at Yen Nghia, Ha Dong, and La Thanh stations; completed the repair and replacement of 55 loudspeakers at 12 stations.
Along with that, the unit has adjusted and temporarily fixed the LED PIS system (train running time display) to ensure that passengers can track train arrival and departure times at all 12 stations. The train timing display system is expected to be completely fixed before June 20.

In addition, Hanoi Metro is carrying out procedures to purchase replacement materials and repair defective TVM automatic ticket vending machines as soon as possible. These are materials and components manufactured according to project orders from 2014-2015, not available on the market; it is expected that by October 2025, the repair can be completed.
Regarding the elevator and escalator system at 12 stations, Hanoi Metro technicians continue to inspect and maintain normal operation. On May 30, an elevator at Thuong Dinh station and a escalator at Phung Khoang station had technical problems, which are currently being fixed and are expected to be completed before June 6.
In particular, the public water drinker and phone charging station at La Khe station are part of the pilot model in the model station development stage. After assessing the needs for use, the ability to ensure safety and water quality (because public clean water sources cannot be drunk directly), as well as the short waiting time for ships to wait for battery charging, the investor decided not to continue operating these devices.
In the immediate future, Hanoi Metro will restore, preserve and continue to study the possibility of exploiting these devices again at La Khe station. If it is assessed as suitable, the company will consider implementing it at other terminals in the future.
The representative of Hanoi Metro also said that the company is actively coordinating with the Hanoi Traffic Management and Operation Center to soon sign a contract to order maintenance of the infrastructure of urban railway line No. 2A, Cat Linh - Ha Dong in 2025.
