On the night of November 18, the authorities of Tan Ha Lam Ha commune (Lam Dong) said that the unit had blocked off the landslide scene and banned vehicles from circulating on the Dan Phuong - Tan Thanh inter-commune road to ensure safety.

Initial information, due to heavy rain lasting for many days, the Dan Phuong - Tan Thanh inter-commune road has 2 landslides, breaking the road surface with lengths of 40m and 130m respectively. Some locations have sunk 1-1.1m deep.
The landslide area is located on a steep, winding road, which is dangerous for people and vehicles participating in traffic.

The authorities also recorded a landslide from Km8+33.6m to Km8+83.6m with a length of about 50m; a rock basket on the positive slope was moved onto the road surface, damaging the drainage system, causing traffic insecurity.
After discovering the subsidence at the above locations, the People's Committee of Tan Ha Lam Ha commune sent forces to inspect the situation, coordinate with relevant agencies to stretch ropes and place warning signs to ensure the safety of the people.

At 9:00 p.m. the same day, the authorities issued a notice to close the road and prohibit vehicles from traveling through the landslide site to ensure safety.
The local government also deployed forces to warn the people.
