Lam Dong - Authorities are rescuing two trucks carrying agricultural products from Da Lat to Nha Trang that were isolated on Khanh Le Pass.

On November 18, the Traffic Police Department, Lam Dong Provincial Police mobilized officers, soldiers and vehicles to approach the landslide area on Khanh Le Pass (Khanh Hoa Province) to clear rocks and soil, rescue 2 trucks and drivers isolated between two landslides.

According to initial information, two trucks transporting agricultural products of Thanh Thuy bus company (headquartered in Lam Vien - Da Lat ward) made a journey from Da Lat to Nha Trang on the night of November 16.

When arriving in Khanh Hoa province, the vehicles encountered a landslide. Due to the additional landslides behind, drivers could not turn back to Da Lat.

Previously, at around 11pm on November 16, at Khanh Le Pass (National Highway 27C, Nam Khanh Vinh Commune, Khanh Hoa Province), a landslide occurred on a positive slope, with rocks and soil spilling onto the road surface, hitting a passenger car, killing 6 people. On the morning of November 17, Khanh Hoa provincial authorities coordinated with relevant agencies to overcome the consequences.

Due to the impact of prolonged heavy rain, Khanh Le Pass has many more landslides, causing difficulties in handling and paralyzing traffic. The 33 km long pass, part of National Highway 27C, is the artery connecting Da Lat with Nha Trang.
