At 8 am on January 23, at the Lang - Yen Lang intersection, Major Dao Xuan Truong, officer of Road Traffic Police Team No. 3, Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police, in the process of performing the task of protecting the 14th Party Congress, received an urgent request for support from the driver of car with license plate 20F-004.xx regarding the fact that the car had a pregnant woman in labor and needed to quickly go to the hospital.
Immediately after grasping the situation, Major Dao Xuan Truong reported to the unit commander, and at the same time requested the Traffic Control Center to support activating the "green wave" system, creating favorable conditions for vehicles to move.
The route organized includes: Lang - Yen Lang - Nguyen Chi Thanh... to Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, the vehicle carrying the pregnant woman received the rhythmic support of the task force on the routes and the traffic surveillance camera system.
Thanks to timely support, the pregnant woman was brought to Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital safely and on time and was received for emergency treatment by doctors and nurses.
Family representatives said that the pregnant woman is Ms. Tran Thi H.A., born in 1998, residing in Long Bien ward, Hanoi city. Previously, Ms. H.A. was diagnosed by doctors with a miscarriage, showing signs of ruptured membranes, and was prescribed to be taken to the hospital immediately for timely treatment. Due to moving during peak hours and high vehicle density, the family could not help but worry. Fortunately, the Traffic Police force provided timely guidance, helping the pregnant woman to be safely admitted to the hospital. After that, Ms. H.A. gave birth to a baby girl, and both mother and baby's health were stable.
