The Ba Lai 6 bridge project was started at the end of 2025, expected to be completed in mid-2027. After more than half a year of construction, the project has reached about 25% of the volume. Currently, the biggest bottleneck of the project is still site clearance work on the bank of Luong Hoa commune.
According to records, there are currently 2 households in Luong Hoa commune that have not completed procedures to receive compensation. Although they have agreed on the policy of land recovery and agreed to hand over the site, the households are still waiting for a decision approving the compensation level for crops on the recovered land area.
As one of the 2 households still facing problems, Ms. Pham Thi Kim Ngan (Luong Hoa commune, Vinh Long province) said that her family fully supports the policy of implementing the project. However, she hopes that functional agencies will soon issue a decision to compensate for the crops so that they can receive money and complete the handover procedures.

Mr. Ho Van Tri - Vice Chairman of Luong Hoa Commune People's Committee - said that the locality has 10 households whose land was recovered for the project. As of July 14, 8 households had been disbursed compensation money, and 2 households were only entangled in the content of determining the level of crop support outside the limit, so they have not received the money.
According to Mr. Tri, the commune has proposed to the Provincial People's Committee to consider removing the above content in order to soon complete site clearance work. When the bottleneck is resolved, the entire site will be handed over for the contractor to synchronously implement the remaining items.
Leaders of Luong Hoa Commune People's Committee assessed that when Ba Lai 6 Bridge and the connecting road are completed, traffic between Phu Thuan Industrial Park and Phong Nam Industrial Park will be more convenient. The project also connects with CT33 road (when completed) and 57C road, creating an important traffic axis serving industrial development.
Mr. Tri added that the locality is promoting the expansion of Phong Nam 2 Industrial Park with the orientation of developing a new phase of about 75ha. Completed transport infrastructure will create a great advantage in attracting businesses, forming a production and logistics linkage chain.

While the ground on the Luong Hoa side is still problematic, the banks of Chau Hung commune have completed handover. Taking advantage of favorable conditions, the contractor mobilized manpower, equipment, and organized many construction teams to compensate for progress and ensure the plan committed to the investor.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Mai Viet Cuong - Director of the Ba Lai 6 Bridge Project Management Board - said that the unit has fully implemented all construction fronts according to the plan. Up to now, the project has reached about 25% of the volume, of which Chau Hung side has clean ground, and Luong Hoa side will add more construction fronts as soon as they are handed over.
Ba Lai 6 bridge is nearly 400m long, 22.5m wide with a total investment of 600 billion VND, built with permanent reinforced concrete structure. When completed (expected in mid-2027), the project will connect Giao Long Industrial Park, Giao Long port, Phong Nam Industrial Park and key economic regions, expand development space, promote trade and attract investment for Vinh Long province.
