According to the Binh Duong Provincial Electronic Information Portal, currently the Binh Duong Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board is carrying out procedures in the investment preparation phase of the Song Than Intersection project.
The total investment of Song Than Intersection project is expected to be 3,546 billion VND. Of which, the cost of site clearance alone is 1,910 billion VND, the construction cost is 879 billion VND and other costs.
This is a rather complicated intersection intersecting National Highway 1A and bordering Binh Duong with Ho Chi Minh City. The construction area of the intersection is about 157,129m2, and it is expected to design and build underpasses and overpasses.
Currently, Binh Duong province has sought comments from the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on the project investment plan. The project's pre-feasibility study report has been completed, and steps are being taken for the Department of Planning and Investment of Binh Duong province to appraise the project investment policy.
In the coming time, there will be a meeting to agree on investment capital sources, capital balancing capacity, investment implementation methods and identify the focal agency to implement the project with Ho Chi Minh City to serve as a basis for proposing to competent authorities to approve the project implementation policy. These steps are expected to be implemented in the first quarter of 2025.
In the second quarter of 2025, the pre-feasibility study report will be appraised and approved. The selection of units and preparation of the feasibility study report will be carried out in the third and fourth quarters of 2025.
