At the Second Session (Special Session), the People's Council of Thai Nguyen province passed a Resolution of consensus on the proposal to implement the CT.07 Expressway Complete Construction Investment Project, Hanoi - Thai Nguyen - Cho Moi section.
The project has a total length of about 100.69 km. The starting point of the route is at the Ring Road III intersection (Km8+00); the end point of the route is at Thanh Binh intersection (Cho Moi commune), including 2 sections: Hanoi - Thai Nguyen section from Ring Road III intersection (Km8+00) to Tan Long intersection (Km69+200), the route length is about 61.2 km, invested according to the scale of a complete 6-lane expressway, designed speed of 100 km/h.
The Thai Nguyen - Cho Moi section from Tan Long intersection (Km69+200) to Thanh Binh intersection (Cho Moi commune) is about 39.49 km long, invested according to the scale of a complete 4-lane expressway, designed speed of 100 km/h.
The project has a total investment of about VND 16,789 billion under a construction - business - transfer contract (BOT contract). State capital is about VND 5,363 billion (including central support capital and capital of Thai Nguyen province).
The project ensures compliance with the road network planning for the period 2021 - 2030 approved by the Prime Minister, while improving regional connectivity and traffic infrastructure quality, especially for key traffic routes in Thai Nguyen province.
