The Party Committee of Nam Dinh Provincial People's Committee has just sent a document to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on reporting and seeking opinions on the investment policy for the landscape axis road project connecting Nam Dinh City (Nam Dinh Province) with Hoa Lu City (Ninh Binh Province).
According to the document, the Party Committee of Nam Dinh Provincial People's Committee reported and requested the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to give opinions on the investment policy for the project to build a landscape axis road connecting Nam Dinh City with Hoa Lu City.
With a total length of about 43.8km and synchronous construction of works on the route, it is a group A project invested by the Nam Dinh Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board.
The main route from Nam Dinh City Ring Road 2 to Dinh Tien Hoang Street, Hoa Lu City is about 20.7km long, designed according to the standards of a grade I plain road, with a design speed of 120km/h. The road cross-section is about 130.5m, including the main route of 6 lanes and the side road of 8 lanes. Clearing the ground with a cross-section of about 200m.
Expanding and building a new Nam Dinh City Ring Road 2, a connecting branch road with a total length of about 23.1km. Of which, the section expanding Nam Dinh City Ring Road 2 is about 18km long, the connecting branch road is about 5.1km long; designed according to the standards of an 8-lane urban road with a cross-section of about 71m, and a sidewalk on each side is 10m wide. Clearing the ground with a cross-section of about 100m.
The total estimated investment of the project is about VND29,000 billion, from the budget of Nam Dinh province, the auction of land use rights from the land funds on both sides of the route and other areas, and other legal capital sources. The implementation period is from 2025 to 2030. Construction is expected to start in 2026 - 2027; completed in 2029.
