According to document No. 738/TTTHHGT-KHVH issued by Mr. Thai Ho Phuong - Director of the Hanoi Traffic Management and Operation Center on coordinating the organization of public passenger transport (VTHKCC) by bus and urban rail during the traffic diversion period to serve the preliminary approval session on August 27, 2025, Hanoi will stop operating 18 bus routes.
Specifically, the routes: 24, 23, 31, 38, Citytour, 01, 34, 55, 41, 146, Citytour 03, 159, 144, E05, E07, E08, 43TC, E11 and Citytour 02 from the time of traffic diversion for the preliminary review.
Adjust the route for 51 bus routes during the traffic diversion period to serve the preliminary approval session, including:
Adjust the route with 12 routes: 16, 01, 03A, 30, 33, 27, 51, 42, 161, E02, E03 and 48.
Adjust the reversal for 39 routes: BRT01, 11, 12, 28, 17, 36, 54, 02, 13, 22A, 26, 32, 40, 50, 90, 98, 99, 100, 107, 86, 08A, 08B, 09A, 09B, 19, 25, 35A, 49, 58, 60A, 65, 143, 142, E09, 43, 47A and 69.
To enhance passenger relief, add 1 more bus route connecting to Cat Linh station (route No. 35A) and 3 bus routes connecting to Cau Giay station: 22A, 50 and 107.
Adjusting services for 31 bus routes serving the preliminary approval session. In which:
Adjust services from the time of diversion for 5 routes: 35A, 25, 43, 50 and 26.
Adjust services and extend operating hours to 10:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. for 26 routes: 72, 123, 27, 49, 124, E01, E04, E06, E09, E02, 08A, 08B, 09B, 21A, 02, 22A, 32, 107, BRT01, 20A, 58, 28, 62, 91, 102 and 114.
Plan to connect and relieve passengers at urban railway stations and transit points:
Cat Linh Station: organizes 7 bus routes (02, 99, 142, 08B, E02, E09 and 35A) with 67 vehicles, frequency of 5 - 8 minutes/trip.
Cau Giay Station (Cau Giay transit point): organizes 14 routes (143, 58, 13, 161, 09B, 90, 25, 32, 28, 49, 09A, 07, 96 and 105) with 121 vehicles, frequency 3 - 5 minutes/trip.
Long Bien transit point: organizes 9 routes (69, 47A, 43, 65, 54, 100, 98, 17 and 11) with 88 vehicles, frequency of 5 - 7 minutes/trip.
Time for increased clearance: from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. The routes follow the cleared bus routes.
For routes with adjusted routes, end points, and turns (no service adjustment) are implemented according to the prescribed roadmap until 4:30 p.m. or until requested by the authorities.
For the bus routes turning around, services must be adjusted, following the adjusted bus schedule according to the plan (from 16:00 - 16:0) from the time of road closure as required by the authorities.
For 14 bus routes (35A, 25, 43, 49, E09, 09B, 26, 02, 32, 107, BRT01, 28, 22A and 50), it is necessary to adjust services during the traffic diversion period, requiring transport units to unify the use of separate transportation orders and reserve paper tickets (for routes applying the pilot electronic ticket) from the time of using the new bus schedule.
Hanoi Railway Company Limited will extend the operating hours of the two urban railway lines to 24:00 (from 5:30 am to 12:00 pm), including:
Route 2A: extend the train travel distance by 6 minutes and 30 seconds from 10:00 - 24:00, the remaining time frames are extended by 10 minutes; ready to add additional trains when needed.
Route 3.1: extend the train travel distance by 6 minutes from 10:00 - 24:00, the remaining time frames are extended by 10 minutes; ready to add additional trains when needed.
Report the results of the implementation of passenger output (trip tickets, monthly tickets, daily tickets, free tickets) on urban railway lines on August 27, 2025 to the Hanoi Traffic Management and Operation Center before 8:00 a.m. on August 28, 2025 for synthesis.
