According to information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of the Ministry of Public Security, at about 9:46 am on June 13, during patrol and control on the Mai Son - National Highway 45 expressway (in the direction of Hanoi - Nghe An), the Task Force of Highway Traffic Police Team No. 3 - Road and Railway Traffic Patrol and Control Guidance Department (CSGT Department) discovered a passenger car with license plate 29K-031. XX stopping in the lane of the expressway.
Through inspection, functional forces determined that the driver stopped the car to let passengers go to the restroom. Immediately after that, the working group requested the vehicle to move to the nearest intersection to work.
As a result, the working group made a record of administrative violation against driver P.Q. Q. D (born 1963, residing in Hanoi) for the act of stopping the vehicle on the highway in the wrong place.
For this violation, the driver was fined 13 million VND and had 6 points deducted from his driver's license according to current regulations.

According to the Traffic Police Department, highways are traffic routes with high density and speed, illegal parking and stopping potentially causes serious accidents, threatening the safety of people in the vehicle and other vehicles in traffic.
After being propagated and explained by functional forces, the driver admitted the violation, realized the danger level of stopping the vehicle on the highway and committed to strictly complying with regulations on traffic order and safety.
The Traffic Police Department recommends that drivers absolutely do not stop or park vehicles on highways outside the permitted locations; only pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations to ensure safety for passengers and traffic participants.
