According to the report on the results of the implementation of public passenger transport (VTHKCC) activities on urban buses and railways to serve the General Inspection of the Hanoi Traffic Management and Operation Center, on August 30, 2025, the travel demand of passengers on railway lines increased but there was no overload, except for Cat Linh station and Cau Giay station after the end of the General Inspection, which was overloaded from 9:00 to 10:30.
The center has coordinated with Hanoi City Police and functional forces to operate a connecting bus to relieve passengers at Cat Linh station in two directions (Hao Nam and Giang Vo), and at the same time operate the clearance at Long Bien bus transfer point according to plan.

At Cau Giay Station (Cau Giay transit point), 14 bus routes are ready to pick up and drop off passengers. At Cat Linh and Cau Giay stations, the two railway lines will operate under the plan of increasing clearance from 9:00.
Due to the sudden increase in passenger numbers, the two urban railway lines have adjusted their frequency increase plan earlier than planned: route 2A increased the frequency of train runs to 6 minutes/trip from 9:00 (instead of 11:00 to 13:00; route 3.1 increased the frequency to 6 minutes/trip from 9:40 (instead of 11:00 to 11:30. By 11:45 a.m., Cat Linh and Cau Giay stations had basically cleared the passengers.
The total number of trains performed (from 5:30 a.m. on August 29 to 4:00 a.m. on August 30) is 527 (route 2A: 265 trips, route 3.1: 262 trips), transporting 118.3 thousand passengers (route 2A: 86,000 trips, route 3.1: 32.3 thousand trips).
The bus routes basically followed the plan organized on the day of the General Meeting. From 9:00 a.m. on August 30, 2025, after the end of the General Rehearsal, the Center's supervision force will coordinate with the authorities to operate the passenger clearance bus routes at Cat Linh, Kim Ma, Giang Vo stations, Cau Giay stations and Long Bien transit points. The bus routes operate continuously, ensuring the fastest clearance; most of the vehicles are full. By 11:30, at Long Bien, Cau Giay, Cat Linh Station, the bus routes had basically completed passenger clearance.
