According to PV on October 29, at the Minh Khai - Vinh Tuy - Yen Duyen road project connecting from Ring Road 2.5 to Ring Road 3 (Hoang Mai ward), half of the road section from Gamuda urban area adjacent to Ring Road 3 to Hoang Mai district housing area, nearly 1km long, is under construction of the foundation and underground technical infrastructure.
Meanwhile, the remaining section from Hoang Mai District housing area to Vinh Hoang urban area, Ring Road 2 passes through the main terrain of agricultural land that has not yet been constructed. Currently, people are taking advantage of growing vegetables on areas that have not been cleared.

According to a worker at the project, the recent heavy rain has affected the construction progress. Currently, taking advantage of favorable weather, the work of leveling, compacting and installing underground sewers is being accelerated.
"The project is located in a densely populated area, with many people and vehicles passing through, so construction safety must be ensured. Trucks carrying soil, rocks, and construction materials mainly run at night to avoid affecting people," said this worker.

The investment project to build the Minh Khai - Vinh Tuy - Yen Duyen route connecting from Ring Road 2.5 to Ring Road 3 (Hoang Mai ward) is 40m wide and 2.07km long. The project was approved by the Hanoi People's Committee in October 2023.
The total investment of the project is 370 billion VND, of which the construction cost is more than 221 billion VND, the site clearance cost is more than 85 billion VND. The project is invested by the Hoang Mai Investment - Infrastructure Project Management Board (formerly the Hoang Mai District Construction Investment Project Management Board).

People in Hoang Mai and Khuyen Luong wards are looking forward to the entire route being synchronously deployed and put into use soon, because when completed, this route will shorten travel time from the Ring Road 3 area to the center.
"Tam Trinh Street is a gateway to the wholesale market, so there are many trucks circulating, and it is often congested, which takes a lot of travel time. The route connecting Ring Road 3 to Minh Khai Road, Ring Road 2.5 will help solve the above problems" - Mr. Hoang Anh said.

The route is designed to urban standards with a width of 40m, a traffic speed of 60km/h, a median strip, and a synchronous technical infrastructure system. The total land area recovered for the project is about 65,000m2.
The connection of two vibrant traffic axes of Hanoi's belt will help facilitate travel between urban areas in the area, minimizing traffic congestion on Tam Trinh Street. The project is expected to be completed in early 2026.
