On May 17, the Hanoi People's Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony for the investment project to build the My Dinh - Ba Sao - Bai Dinh route (the section connecting from the Southern Axis to Huong Son - Tam Chuc road), My Duc district and Ung Hoa district.
Reported at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Ngo Ngoc Van - Director of the Management Board of Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project, said that the investment project on construction of My Dinh - Ba Sao - Bai Dinh route (section connecting the southern axis to Huong Son - Tam Chuc), My Duc district, Ung Hoa district to contribute to complete My Dinh - Ba Sao - Bai Dinh route in accordance with the approved planning in Hanoi and the areas of Ha Nam, the area of Ha Nam, the area of Ha Nam, the area of Ha Nam, the area of Ha Nam and the area of Ha Nam, the area of Ha Nam, the area of Ha Nam, the area of the area Km35+870 intersects the southern axis. The end point at Km49+095 intersects with Huong Son - Tam Chuc street.
The route is 12.5km long with a cross-section of 21m; construction of 4 main intersections including: intersection with the southern axis road (linear location); intersection with National Highway 21B; intersection with Huong Son inter-commune road; intersection with Huong Son - Tam Chuc road; Construction of the Day River overpass and Chau Giang River (Doi Do canal); Construction synchronous technical infrastructure, installation of traffic organization system, trees, sidewalks, lighting, arranging the median strip with tree planting, ensuring the landscape and similarity of the entire route.
According to Mr. Ngo Ngoc Van, the project has a total investment of 2,080 billion VND from the Hanoi city budget.
Up to now, the investment project has completed all investment procedures, selected a construction contractor, the investor and the contractor have signed a construction contract worth VND 1,338 billion, with a construction period of 690 days.
The site clearance work has been urgently deployed by My Duc and Ung Hoa districts, achieving positive results, creating conditions for readiness to start construction.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan emphasized that Hanoi City has actively directed the implementation of transport infrastructure construction projects, including investment projects on construction of My Dinh - Ba Sao - Bai Dinh route connecting the southern road to Huong Son - Tam Chuc Street, which is one of the projects on the list of key projects and projects of the city.
According to the Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, the project has a role in connecting the city center with the southern gateway areas, while contributing to realizing the development axis of "Spir away - Tourism - Culture" with special cultural and sports complexes and national relics such as: My Dinh National Sports Complex, Huong Pagoda, Tam Chuc, Bai Dinh...
After completion, the investment project will contribute to completing the planned route, enhancing inter-regional connectivity between Hanoi and the provinces of Ha Nam, Hoa Binh, Ninh Binh, promoting the development of tourism, culture, socio-economics, urban areas, industry, services and effectively exploiting land funds for the southern area of the capital.
