On May 9, the People's Committee of Thuong Tin district (Hanoi) held a groundbreaking ceremony for the project to upgrade and expand National Highway 1A from Km191 + 700 to Km193 + 300 through Thuong Tin town.
The project belongs to group B, type of traffic (urban road) is a special-grade project. The project to renovate the project and upgrade the road is about 1.6km long. The project has a scale and design of the remaining 1/2 cross-section according to plan B=19m.
Along with that, the project also has Thuong Tin bridge at Km193 + 60.46, 1/2 of the bridge surface width B=18m. Main items: Roadbed, road surface, bridge, sidewalk, drainage, technical mine, trees, lighting, traffic safety and other synchronous technical infrastructure systems.
The project has a total investment of more than 499 billion VND. Of which, the cost of site clearance (GPMB) is more than 346 billion VND. Construction time is 420 days.
Up to now, the People's Committee of Thuong Tin district has organized the selection of construction contractors and consulting contractors in accordance with regulations.
In order for the project to ensure quality and on schedule to be put into operation and use soon, Chairman of Thuong Tin District People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Minh requested relevant units of the district to properly perform their assigned functions and tasks. The construction process is safe, quality, ensuring environmental hygiene, determined to achieve the set progress.
On the investor's side, proactively coordinate to resolve difficulties and problems in the implementation of site clearance, providing timely and complete supply for the project's needs. Localities in the district where projects have passed are actively coordinating with investors to quickly resolve all work, policies, and regimes on compensation and support for site clearance related to the project.
In addition, localities continue to promote propaganda so that people clearly understand the meaning, importance and necessity of the project, creating high consensus with the site clearance plan. Urgently hand over the site to the construction unit. Timely review and coordinate with units to develop resettlement plans for eligible households according to regulations.
The project is completed to serve the travel and trade needs of people, improve the service capacity of routes in the district, contribute to the socio-economic development, national defense and security of the southern gateway area of Hanoi City.
