Hanoi City is implementing general cleaning of the transport infrastructure system, renovating parks, lighting, green trees, lawns and environmental landscapes to serve the National Assembly and People's Council elections at all levels.
To ensure that activities serving the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels in Hanoi Capital take place smoothly and well meet the travel needs of people, the Hanoi Department of Construction has issued Notice No. 350/TB-SXD assigning tasks to departments and affiliated units to deploy inspection and general cleaning of the traffic infrastructure system.
Implementing the direction of the Department of Construction, the Hanoi City Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Board has requested contractors managing and maintaining the traffic infrastructure system to simultaneously launch operations to implement a number of specific tasks.
Accordingly, units strengthen inspection and review of the entire road traffic infrastructure system on roads managed by the city.
At the same time, focus on cleaning the system of markers, signs, medians, reflective arrowheads, bridge railings and mechanical tunnels, bridges and road tunnels, auxiliary works, fences... to ensure brightness, greenness, cleanliness, beauty, contributing to improving urban aesthetics.
Sanitation work is particularly focused on in areas where elections are held, roads leading to polling stations, main roads, ring roads and national highways and provincial roads in Hanoi.
In addition, units promptly repair damage to traffic infrastructure, especially road surface and sidewalk systems; thoroughly handle phenomena of peeling, cracking, and subsidence... to ensure smooth and safe road surface for people and vehicles participating in traffic.
The units also coordinated with the Hanoi City Technical Infrastructure Management Center and the Hanoi City Police to prune green trees at locations blocking road signs and traffic lights, ensuring visibility and traffic safety.
