During the Tet holidays, traffic activities in Lam Dong province took place smoothly, ensuring good activities for people to celebrate Spring and Tet.
However, there is still local congestion on some central routes in Da Lat city during the peak tourist season.
During the Lunar New Year holiday and Spring Festivals in 2025, traffic forces detected and fined 1,029 violations, temporarily detained 5 cars and 129 motorbikes.
Compared to the same period, the number of violations decreased by 404 cases (1,029/1,433). From January 25 to February 2, the whole province had 5 traffic accidents, killing 3 people and injuring 6 people.
Compared to the same period last year, there were 9 fewer cases (5/14 cases), 3 fewer deaths (3/6), and 8 fewer injuries (6/14).
This result shows the efforts of the authorities in ensuring traffic safety.
