Thai Nguyen is implementing a series of key transport projects with a total investment of hundreds of billions of VND. Many large-scale projects are being urgently constructed, striving to reach the finish line in 2025 to complete the infrastructure.

The entire route has a total length of more than 20km, starting at Quan Vuong intersection (Km14+000 on National Highway 3C), ending at Tuyen Quang province.

This is a grade III mountainous road, with an 8m wide road surface, 9m roadbed, designed speed of 60km/h, and a 7cm thick layer of asphalt concrete.
Currently, three out of four hard bridges on the route have been completed to replace the old, narrow bridge. The project is urgently constructing the approach road, aiming to complete the entire project in the second quarter of 2025.
When completed, the route will create momentum for the war zone of Dinh Hoa Khoi Security to fully promote its potential and strengths in historical and ecological tourism.
The route connecting Phu Binh district and Pho Yen city with a total investment of 736 billion VND is also about to be completed. The project has a total length of 2km, 47m wide, the section through Phu Binh district is 1.5km long, the rest is in Pho Yen city.
The starting point of the project intersects with DT.261 at Km47+350.54, the end point intersects with DT.266 in Diem Thuy commune (Phu Binh).
After more than 1 year of implementation, the project has been basically completed. Most of the entire road surface is paved with asphalt, making it possible for people and vehicles to travel.


For the Ring Road V project in Phu Binh district worth nearly 700 billion VND, it has just been completed after 3 years of implementation. The route is 6.68km long, with an average road surface width of 22.5m connecting Thai Nguyen and Bac Giang provinces.
This is a section of the more than 330km long route passing through 8 localities with a total investment of VND 86,000 billion. The project helps connect the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen expressway with National Highway 37 and Bac Giang province. At the same time, link Yen Binh Complex, Phu Binh District with Bac Giang Province, thereby helping to promote the socio-economic development of the region.
According to the Thai Nguyen Traffic and Agricultural Construction Investment Project Management Board, in 2025, the unit will be assigned to be the investor of 12 projects. The total investment cost is over 1,492 billion VND. By the end of May, capital disbursement had reached 30.13% of the annual plan.

This year, the Board sets the goal of completing key projects such as the route connecting the provincial road (DT) 261 - DT.266 (phase 1); upgrade and expand the route from Km31 on NH3 to the special national historical site atk Dinh Hoa; The route connects from Bac Son to the provincial sports complex; The route connects DT.265 to Bac Giang province; Ring Road I and Urban Urban bypass, Dong Hy district ...
For the road connecting the Thai Nguyen - Bac Giang - Vinh Phuc region to Trieu Quang Phuc Street (Pho Yen City) started construction earlier this year, the completion milestone is in the first quarter of 2026.
After completion, the projects will contribute to synchronizing local transport infrastructure, promoting economic and social development as well as strengthening regional linkages.
