Opened on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, the 2-storey train "Hanoi 5 gates" has 5 passenger carriages and 2 check-in carriages.
Every day, the train operates 3 trips, departing from Hanoi Station, passing through Long Bien, Gia Lam, Yen Vien and Tu Son Station - Bac Ninh and then turning around again. The train runs at 8, 2pm and 8:30pm, suitable for tourists to experience the journey both day and night, depending on their needs.

Many people and tourists choose this as a new experience when coming to Hanoi to attend the events celebrating the September 2nd Festival this year. Ms. Minh Ha (HCMC) said that she has visited all 5 train cars and felt very beautiful, helping visitors feel the ancient culture of Hanoi recreated in each train car.
Each train car has its own unique characteristics. Visitors can experience rustic, ancient dishes such as banh da, banh da... thereby better understanding the ancient and historical features of Hanoi. This is a new step forward for the Hanoi tourism industry to attract tourists, Ms. Ha shared.
Mr. Nguyen Tat Kien (Nghe Tu So, Hanoi) said that the train brings an experience like a 5-star hotel on the railway. "Hopefully, there will be more similar projects so that Hanoi can have its own identity and mark, contributing to spreading the beauty of the capital in particular and Vietnam in general," said Mr. Kien.
Many people consider this a unique product for tourists, especially international visitors. The train cars are meticulously and luxuriously decorated, from the interior to the small details are taken care of, such as ancient watches, old TVs... creating a sense of elaborateness and thoughtfulness from the founders.
