Bac Kan - Mr. L.T.D (born in 1971, residing in Ba Be district) has just been fined for driving in the wrong direction on National Highway 3.

On June 4, information from Bac Kan Provincial Police said that the unit had just issued a decision to administratively fine Mr. L.T.D. VND19 million for driving in the wrong direction on a road with a prohibited sign.

The incident was discovered when a video clip was circulated on social media showing a truck blatantly driving in the wrong direction on National Highway 3, from Cao Bang to Bac Kan.

Upon receiving the report, the Traffic Police Department of Bac Kan Province Police promptly took action to verify. It was determined that on May 13, Mr. D drove a truck with license plate 97C-023.XX from the Provincial General Hospital to National Highway 3 and then drove in the wrong direction on the Victory Road of Phu Thong towards the intersection with Nguyen Thi Minh Khai and Hoang Van Thu streets.

In addition to the fine, Mr. D also had 4 points deducted from his driving license according to regulations.
