    HCMC - A technology taxi traveling in the wrong direction on Vo Nguyen Giap Street (Thu Duc City) crashed into a motorbike, causing a young man to die on the spot.

    According to initial information, at around 5:10 p.m. today (May 21), the driver (identity unknown) was driving a technology taxi on the Vo Nguyen Giap parallel road from MK intersection to Binh Thai intersection. When about 50m from Road 546 (Phuoc Long A Ward), this driver drove the car in the wrong direction.

    While traveling in the opposite direction, the taxi collided strongly with a motorbike driven by a young man (identity unknown). The strong collision caused the victim to be thrown onto the road and die on the spot.

    Immediately after receiving the report, the authorities, including Ho Chi Minh City Police, Rach Chiec Traffic Police Team (PC08) and Phuoc Long A Ward Police, quickly arrived at the scene to block off, examine and investigate the cause of the accident.

    The technology taxi driver was taken to Phuoc Long A Ward Police for a statement and conducted an alcohol and drug test to serve the investigation.

    The case is continuing to be clarified.
